Office 2007 enterprise download. WD My Passport for Mac carries a street price of $199.99, $99.99, and $69.99 for 3TB, 2TB, and 1TB, respectively. All models carry a 3-year.
I have several WD My Passport 2TB and 3TB devices and have had very good success.Recently, my 3TB device was not recognized on my MacBook Pro running MacOS Sierra 10.12.1 unless I shut down the computer and restarted it. Now the device takes several minutes to mount and be recognized on my MB Pro. After 10 or 20 minutes, it will slowly populate the directories. I have been able to copy small groupings of files at a time to a new drive; until I get error messages, “file not found”. I tried using the Mac first aid drive utility and I get a message saying that the drive is faulty and should be replaced.
I tried using the WD My passport utilities and it passes the “Drive Status Check”; but fails the “Quick Drive Test”, and the “Complete Drive Test”. My other My Passport devices pass all of the WD and Apple drive utility tests. I placed the unit in an vacuum sealed bag and put it in the freezer with a USB cable glued to the sealed bag, with no change in performance. WD opened a case file for me and has told me the unit is defective and they will give me a new one.Can anyone suggest any other utilities or procedures to try before I give up on my data? The drive still functions but barely.
What does this price mean? This is the price (excluding shipping and handling fees) a seller has provided at which the same item, or one that is nearly identical to it, is being offered for sale or has been offered for sale in the recent past. The price may be the seller's own price elsewhere or another seller's price. The 'off' amount and percentage simply signifies the calculated difference between the seller-provided price for the item elsewhere and the seller's price on eBay. If you have any questions related to the pricing and/or discount offered in a particular listing, please contact the seller for that listing.
